Negative: We arrived at night to find the appartment deep in the process of renovation. The host did not let me know, though, judging by the stage of works, repairs started at least several weeks before. Instead, the host provided welcome and key collection instructions a day before arrival and answered my questions on the property equipment. When I contacted the host with the question how this could happen, the host apologized and returned the payment. However, I had to find another property and of course at the last moment in Paris I could not find any option comparable in price and location, so we spent more and leaved farther from the city center. This experience undermines my trust in booking.com, I have not had such situations before with booking, and I used the service for decades.

Positive: Fabulous flat - quiet, clean, well equipped and great location! Would definitely stay again!
